Are you a flat earthier or a raised bedded gardener or
believe in using both traditional flat earth gardens as well as raised bed gardens. Both type of gardens have their place. Running slopes of land toward the dry
areas of flat ground gardens saturates the area during rain. Therefor mitigating the use of watering during normal rainfall periods . Sloping land to flat earth garden areas does however increase the chance of
flooding, which in turn washes away nutrients in the soil. With this in consideration, raised beds are a good
alternative and sometimes a better option.
